Anatomy
To help understanding, this is the anatomy and discussion of the different elements of the Kertesz Premium WordPress Photography Website and Blog.
Background and header -
The first element on the left is a simple background image (gif) it can be any color or pattern you wish. It is simple to replace by uploading a new bg.gif file that you have created. Or leave it out and just chose a color.
Next is the logo image. It is 750 pixels wide and 100 pixels tall! You can easily replace it with your own logo and slogan. Just create a new one of your design and upload it. You can have any color you want and even replace the blank white background to its right.
Flash banner -

Place an unlimited number of images in Kertesz’s Flash banner. You can modify: the banner height, plus slide time, fade time, color of header and body text, color and transparency of the insert, fade time for the text insert, and the alignment of the text. You can add only headline or only body or neither or both.
You also have the option to add a link and the target of each image – all within a simple easy to read XMLfile! Special are the attention to transitions and the image cache which loads the images only once, so it saves bandwidth of the server and user.
Navigation bar -

The Navigation Bar! Dynamically created and updated as you add or change content. Easily customized by easily styled to your preference by changing the colors or small 20×30 gifs. No code changes are even needed!
The top navbar shows all your pages and subpages. The bottom navbar shows your categories and subcategories. Subpages and subcategories are automatically shown in dropdowns.
Main page features -


The main page Feature Stories content is entered/changed by simply uploading a new image and placing new text in the Kertesz Options page in the Administration menu. The text entry boxes even support simple HTML formating tags and links. Just fill it in, feild by feild. It is easy to edit and view the page.
The “Recent Posts” list is created and updated automatically as you blog. It needs no special maintenance.
Blog page -

Sharing the common header, banner and navbars, the Kertesz single column blog pages are designed to present your photographic images in an impressively elegant manner. Its blog is uncluttered with widgets, focusing your blog visitor on your images and content. Additionally comments and leave comment fields are handled in an inline manner, allowing visitors to easily read each others comments with out leaving the rich content of your blog.
Site pages -

Using an accepted standard double column format combined with the shared header, banner, and navbar elements Kertesz’s site pages are designed to maximize visitor engagement and aid navigation. The right sidebar is fully “widgetized” allowing the site owner to drag and drop over a dozen different WordPress options. Create as many Pages and sub-Pages as you wish. They will be consistently formatted and automatically added to the navbar.
