Maximize Your BluDomain Site
I see it everyday, photographers have these gorgeous BluDomain sites that have the search ability and search marketing potential of a brick. In an effort to get their ranking up for organic search they build a Blogspot blog.
Guess what? That doesn’t work.
Why not? Because it isn’t an integrated part of your site. What that means is that it doesn’t live on your domain. It lives on a Blogspot.com domain. The search engines read that as a seperate site which does nothing to push your beautiful BluDomain site up in the rankings. What’s more, you leak visitors like a sieve…visitors are increasingly resistant to move from one domain to another. Even with shared commonality like “yourdomain.blogspot.com” to “yourdomian.com” you are still asking them to leave the safety of thier initial landing spot, Blogspot.
So what is a person supposed to do? You were told that having a blog was the golden ticket. Well, it can help if you do it right.
Forget that separate Blogspot nonsense and get your self a self-hosted WordPress blog and install it on your domain on your BluDomain hosting account under your own domain name. Better yet, get a really kickin’ WordPress website and wrap it around your BluDomain site. Then you get all the power of the WordPress platform, full dialogue site capabilities and still have the BluDomain site as a stunning gallery.
Bingo, the best of both worlds.
It really is as easy as it sounds. Yes! If you don’t think you have the time or the technical skills to make it happen, you can always call/email us. We’ll install your WP blog, import your Blogspot content into it, maximize it for Search Engine Optimization and fully configure it. Heck if you want, we’ll even take care of the custom graphics to make it match your branding and BluDomain site. Easy Breezy! It just takes a couple of days.
Then you just keep on blogging (AKA” adding content”)and watch your whole BluDomain climb in the the search results.

I am starting up a new photography studio, and just opened up yesterday. My website (done using bludomain) will be up soon but I am new to this, so can you help me promote?
I would suggest wrapping your BluDomain site in a Kertesz 2 site and using your Blu as the gallery. That way you get the best of both worlds.
